A homeopathic consultation is a detailed exploration of your symptoms in a confidential and caring environment. I will ask you to describe what you are experiencing on the physical, emotional and mental plane. This is so that I can find the closest remedy matching your overall state. Considering there are over 3,000 homeopathic remedies currently proved and used, it is not surprising that such an exploration needs to be detailed.

Sometimes – as in the case of an acute, short-term complaint such as an ear ache, a stomach upset, jet-lag or exam nerves – this might be possible in a short consultation, but with more chronic, long-standing complaints the first meeting generally lasts 90 minutes.

At the end of the consultation I am usually able to give you a remedy to take home. On occasions, however, I might need to do more research; in this case I will send you a remedy by post.

It is important for you to contact me either by phone or email after 7-10 days from taking the remedy and in any case to come for a follow-up in 3-4 weeks time.

When starting to work together, I will ask you to commit to three appointments (usually in the course of about 3 months) so that we can properly assess the action of the remedies.

Follow-up appointments last 45-60 minutes.

First appointments for children are 60 minutes long and follow-ups 30-45 minutes.
